Alarm or event number. The number value is obtained from the last digit(s) of the OID of the sent trap, and then subtracted by 1. For example, for the trap acBoardEthernetLinkAlarm, which has an OID of 1.3.6.1.4.1.5003.9.10.1.21.2.0.10, the value of the varbind is 9 (i.e., 10 – 1).

The value is an integer from 0 to 1000.
